I think it was Abraham Lincoln who said “Give me 6h to chop down a tree and i will spend the first 4h sharpening my axe” So yea get some knowledge about aim training before beginning. This is wrong on some aspects, but good on some tooġ- your absolutely right, knowing what your about to train is an absolute must. Proper crosshair placement is very important for click-time based weapons.Ĭrosshair placement is most obvious in games like Valorant or CS-GO and every single pro in that game has mastered click-timing.ĭo your absolute best to minimize your reliance on your raw aim and work on reading movement, consistent crosshair movements, good crosshair placement and your ability to make precise adjustments. Go watch some streamers who use the wingman a lot and notice how their crosshair is usually on one side of the enemies strafe or the other and the only time it moves is when it moves an extremely short distance (microflick) and when the enemy runs back towards their crosshair. The flicking part comes with adjusting your crosshair as needed but it should really only be micro flicks if you've learned to read movement well enough. That means you're placing your crosshair somewhere and timing your shots with their movement. Weapons like the wing man, 30-30, longbow, etc, are click-time based weapons. Click-timing is the art of placing your crosshair into a position where the enemy will pass through it and then shooting when they do. You are not simply flicking to your opponents body and if you are then you really need to hear this. Once you get good at recognizing movement patterns your aim becomes a lot cleaner and in some cases you'll even be able to predict your opponents movement and kind of preemptively track them and get the easiest and sickest one clips of your life.Ĭlick-timing is what most people refer to as "flicking" because they're uninformed of what it is they're actually doing. Aim is also reading movement and click-timing. Or you could bash your head against the wall and grind it out slowly like 99% of players without any knowledge of what it is you're actually getting good at making it way slower.Īim is not just muscle memory like everybody says. You need to understand what it is you're training before you can even try to get good at it. If the title is not descriptive the post will be deleted. Instead of writing "Nice hiding spot" name the post "Hiding spot at location X on top of the boxes" for example. You can ask any questions here and find like-minded teammates for your platform.
